- Can I use Snugtab for free forever?
- Yes. The Free plan has no time limit — unlimited manual expenses, splits and one ledger. AI features are metered but available to try.
- What counts as an AI token?
- Each receipt scan, AI quick-add (typing a note), or voice log costs one token. Your monthly allowance resets on the 1st of each month.
- What is an encrypted private entry?
- A Max-plan feature that end-to-end encrypts the amount, description and notes with your login password before storing it. Even Snugtab cannot read it.
- Can I switch plans at any time?
- Yes — upgrade or downgrade whenever you like. Unused tokens from the previous period are not carried over.
- Is there a family or team plan?
- Not yet. Each household (ledger) is independent. Multiple households work great for tracking different groups — reach out if you need something custom.
